Hi everyone!
As you've seen in my previous entry, I had a huge party to go to & of course I went shopping (last week) for new accessories and shoes! I knew I wanted to wear my classic, sexy little black dress - I just needed some posh new accessories to turn it into a whole new outfit :)

I bought three beautiful new pair of earrings, two gorgeous cocktail rings and two sexy pairs of high heel shoes! Like always, a very successful shopping trip :)

INGLOT Haul & Review

Hi Dolls ♥

On Monday, when I went to Inglot, its obvious that I couldn't leave empty handed!
Like I said in my previous entry, I fell in love with the freedom system & i bought a palette.

I picked out a palette that had space for 1 pressed powder or bronzer, 1 blush, and 3 circle spaces (can be filled with either concealer, brow powder, lip gloss, or eyeshadow). It was in a matte black case with a hugee mirror.




The palette I customized was $33 and about $35 or $36 after tax. So, I would say it is a very good deal! I picked out a pressed powder foundation, a matte peachy/pink blush, an eyebrow powder and two eyeshadows : a light sparkly gold and a light sparkly bronze shade.

Isnt it gorgeous?! I can do my whole face up with this palette & all i need to bring seperate is eye liner, mascara and a lip color! Talk about down sizing my on-the-go makeup bag! Absolutely amazing!

The Pressed Powder Foundation
The pressed powder was pretty good. It has light - medium coverage. Light coverage when applied using a kabuki brush, and medium coverage when using a sponge. It doesnt have very strong pigmentation, so you can still see your natural skin under it. This is not a problem for me because I do not have any belemishes on my skin, so I dont really have anything to "cover". it give sheerer coverage then my Make Up For Ever Duo Mat foundation (my favorite). It goes on very silky and does not look thick or cakey at all. I really like it!

The Blush
I loveeeeeee the blush! This shade is SO pretty! It can be swept on lightly for a slight hint of color for a very natural look, or it can be applied on heavier or layered on for a more dramatic look. It also goes on very silky and is very easy to blend it. I cant wait to go pick up more colors!

The Eyebrow Powder
The brow powder is very good as well. It is very highly pigmented, so you have to be careful and use a light hand when applying it. It matches my eyebrows perfectly and gives me that bold brow look that i adore! Great product!

The Eye Shadows
The eye shadows are also very pretty! I kind of regret getting such light colors, becuase they really dont stand out too much on my tan/olive skin tone, but none the less, they look very natural and give a slight hint of shimmer, very pretty for a day time look! They are not as highly pigmented as the other darker colors that I have swatched in the store, but they are still beautiful colors.

The Palette Itself
I LOVE THIS PALETTE!!!! It really has absolutely everything that I need to doll myself up! For only $35, it is a wonderful value and I cannot wait to go back and pick up some more palettes for all different types of looks. Also, the huge mirror is great and really completes the whole package. In addition, I like the sleek black case. It reminds me of a NARS type packaging, and gives that nice classy, sleek look.

I asked for a free sample & I chose to get my hands on a pigment!
I picked this gorgeous teal shade! It looks so pretty, I adore it.

SO PRETTY :)
If you can see in the lower left had corner of the photo, it matched the color shirt I was wearing lol ; )

So - i have fantastic news!
I AM A PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST!I am so happy & I worked really hard to reach this goal :)
I have my professional certificate & everything and I am going to be applying for M.A.C., Bobbi Brown, Make Up For Ever, Laura Mercier & theBalm Pro Cards, so excited!!I am really proud of myself, this year is off to an incredible start!
I'm still only 17 years old and I've already graduated high school 6 months early with honors & a regents diploma & now I am already a PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTIST!!
I really couldn't be any happier, i love my life ;)

Inside INGLOT

Hello my beautiful people ;)

This Monday I ventured off into times square & I knew right away where my first stop would be : INGLOT


Inglot is a makeup company from Poland that is well known all over Europe, and this store in Times Square in NYC is the first one in America. Its a tiny little store that has a true boutique feel to it. There were only two people working there at the time, so that may help you imagine how small it was. Right away, I spotted the well known "Freedom System".

The Freedom System is an area in the store where they have a whole bunch of different palette options to choose from. It works like this..
1. Pick the palette that you want.
2. Explore the table filled with the possible choices for your palette.
3. Customize your palette & pick what you want to put in it.
4. Hand over your picks to one of the workers. They will make your palette.
5. You get your completed palette that you just customized for yourself :)

Inglot also had a huge selection of lip products, as seen below. There are lip pencils, glosses, duo lip cubes (a little cube that opens up to reveal to separate lip colors on both sides), and lip sticks.
Inglot is not only known for their Freedom System, but for their special nail polishes as well. They have a line of polishes called their "O2M Breathable Nail Enamel" & it is said to be one of the best nail polishes for your nails. It's toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and camphor free. It claims to act more like a "second skin" for your nails and still let them breathe, not just cover them with toxins as some other nail polishes do. They have a huge variety of colors, from natural skin colored shades to funky, filled with glitter colors!
Their face products were impressive as well. They had a lot of different types of foundation available, as well as many shades to choose from.


Inglot also had tons of different eyeshadow shades that would please any makeup artist or makeup-addict :) they were all so pretty and very highly pigmented! (my camera took the photos on flash & it didn't really capture all the colors..SORRY!!)

And, of course - pigments & lashes!!!
The pigments we absolutely gorgeous and had every shade that you could ever want!
The lashes were crazzyy! Definitely more of a "theatrical" edge to them, rather then natural, or something that you girls would wear on a daily basis. But still, non the less - FABULOUS!

I really loved this store. It is really great & I cant wait to go back and try out all of their products! If you are in NYC or are visiting soon, make sure to stop by Inglot & be prepared to spendddd!!!
